We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our advanced facility in Nashville, Tennessee. This role demands a combination of technical aptitude and warehouse operational knowledge to ensure the smooth functioning of our distribution center. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and other machinery, ensuring minimal downtime. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving mechanical issues is crucial. Maintaining a high standard of warehouse organization and cleanliness is also a key responsibility, contributing to overall operational efficiency and Safety . The ideal candidate will have experience with various maintenance tasks and a solid understanding of warehouse Logistics . This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 60 pounds, and working in varied warehouse conditions. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of workplace Safety and require all employees to adhere strictly to safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all machinery operates safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and order as needed.
- Assist with warehouse organization and Safety inspections.
- Operate equipment as needed, adhering to all PPE requirements.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety regulations and wearing required PPE .
