In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the outgoing shipment process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all regulations. Your duties will include preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, verifying shipment details, and maintaining accurate records. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics best practices is highly desirable. Safety is our top priority; you will be required to strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves moderate physical activity, including some lifting (up to 40 lbs). We are looking for a proactive individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Process all outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and shipping regulations.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing packages.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely when needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
