Job Summary:
Seeking a reliable and skilled Material Handler to support our busy distribution center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and prepared for further processing or shipment. Your responsibilities will include operating material handling equipment, managing inventory flow, and maintaining a safe and orderly workspace. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
  • Move materials and inventory within the warehouse.
  • Organize and store materials in designated locations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Proper use of PPE is mandatory.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience operating forklifts or other relevant material handling equipment (certification preferred).
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 60 lbs).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
