We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, California. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities include receiving, processing, and stocking incoming inventory, as well as picking, packing, and preparing outgoing orders for shipment. You will be an integral part of our logistics chain, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be responsible for verifying shipment contents against order forms and inspecting goods for any damage. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and handling of materials, is mandatory. You will also be expected to assist with cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure accuracy. This position requires the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Continuous improvement is encouraged, and suggestions for process enhancements are welcomed. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within our expanding company. We provide all necessary PPE to ensure your safety.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Follow all company guidelines for material handling and storage.
- Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
- Support logistics operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing demands.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
