Join our thriving logistics team as a Forklift Operator in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery. You will be instrumental in moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Proper operation of forklifts is critical to maintaining efficient workflow, ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately throughout the distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move pallets of goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment to and from designated areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working order, reporting any issues.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper stacking and stability.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency and safety.
- Support the logistics team with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Strong spatial awareness and maneuvering skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
