We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Denver, Colorado. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the highest standards of safety. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of warehouse staff, optimizing workflows, coordinating logistics, and maintaining inventory integrity. This leadership position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for training and motivating your team, enforcing company policies, and ensuring all operational goals are met. A key focus will be on maintaining a safe working environment, which includes ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). You will oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, ensuring smooth and timely movement of goods. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and a solid understanding of logistics best practices are essential. While leadership is the primary focus, occasional involvement in tasks requiring moderate Lifting may be necessary. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory and manage stock levels.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of warehouse machinery.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse environments, including the importance of PPE.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to handle occasional physical demands, including moderate Lifting.
