In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Your duties will include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks, transport goods to designated areas, and assist with inventory management. A strong focus on **Safety** is paramount, and all employees must adhere to strict protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina, as you will be involved in frequent **Lifting**, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods. We are seeking individuals who are reliable, energetic, and possess a keen eye for detail. Previous experience operating heavy machinery and a forklift certification are highly desirable. - Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory control, including stocking and cycle counts.
- Ensure all materials are handled carefully and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all **Safety** regulations and use required **PPE**.
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Forklift certification is required or ability to obtain quickly.
- Ability to **Lifting** and carrying up to 75 lbs.
- Strong understanding of **Logistics** and warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated commitment to **Safety** and **PPE** compliance.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
