Setting us apart from our competitors is our people./ppIf youre looking for a place where your hard work and great ideas make a difference--NIBCO is the place for you./ph2Position Info:/h2p16-month training program that is broke out into two phases - The first phase of the trainee program, you will go through a comprehensive 4 (four) month training program in which Sales Trainees will learn NIBCO products, customers, manufacturing, and distribution methods. You will then transition into the second phase of the program and become a Business Development Trainee. You will be assigned to support a specific Area Sales Manager(s) and location. In this role, you will support the sales of NIBCO flow control products and systems by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects. You will serve in this in-house sales support role for a minimum of 12 (twelve) months. Upon successful completion of this 16-month training program, you will have the option to apply for an outside sales role./ph2Responsibilities:/h2p Participate in structured training program./pp Visit NIBCO manufacturing locations and give presentations on what was learned during these visits./pp Spend time job shadowing associates experienced in customer-facing roles including sales./pp Give final sales presentations and complete a final test drawing upon the lessons, knowledge, and skills learned./ph2Education:/h2pBachelors Degree required. Business or Marketing major preferred./ph2Training And Skills:/h2pCandidates must be a good communicator, sociable, have an outgoing personality, and be comfortable with travel. Involvement in extra-curricular activities strongly preferred./ph2Physical Demands / Environmental Factors:/h2pProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to travel daily and spend most of the day in a vehicle, train, or plane. Valid drivers license and no major driving violations.
