Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, food handling, and general cleaning duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients
• Support cooking activities under supervision to ensure timely meal service
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures in accordance with health standards
• Help with dishwashing and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Support serving staff during meal service when required
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge of basic food handling and safety procedures
• Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently and thoroughly
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food preparation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
