Join our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania team as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for skilled and certified individuals to handle the movement of goods within our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, transport, and stack materials. This role requires excellent spatial awareness, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. You will play a vital part in our logistics chain, ensuring materials are moved accurately and on time. Experience with various types of forklifts and warehouse equipment is essential. A valid forklift operator certification is required. We are committed to a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE , is mandatory. You must be able to perform duties involving lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs. This is an excellent opportunity for a certified operator to join a reputable logistics company.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and stage goods accurately and safely.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including PPE requirements.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel.
