Join our bustling distribution center in New York City, New York, as a Distribution Center Associate. We are looking for dedicated individuals to support our extensive logistics network. This role is multifaceted, involving a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. You will be involved in receiving and processing incoming goods, accurately stocking inventory, and fulfilling customer orders. Your ability to work efficiently and maintain a high level of accuracy is critical to our success. We pride ourselves on our commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments of goods.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all protocols.
- Comply with all company policies and safety regulations, including mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform manual lifting tasks as required, with the capacity for lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and record-keeping.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet operational targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Previous experience in a distribution center or logistics role is an advantage.
