Job Summary:
Are you a motivated leader with a passion for logistics and operational excellence? We are hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for our busy facility in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse floor, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. Your responsibilities will include managing and motivating a team of warehouse associates, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training. You will play a critical role in optimizing workflow, managing inventory, and ensuring timely shipment of orders. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics best practices is essential. You will be responsible for enforcing all company policies, including strict adherence to Safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires the ability to handle operational challenges, support your team through demanding periods, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Frequent involvement in tasks requiring moderate Lifting will also be part of the role. We are looking for someone who can inspire their team, drive productivity, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Your leadership will be key to our ongoing success in the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff.
  • Assign tasks and monitor employee performance, providing feedback and coaching.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Oversee inventory management and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
  • Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards promptly.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency in logistics.
  • Manage equipment utilization and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Assist with problem-solving operational issues and making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping and receiving regulations.
  • Facilitate communication between shifts and departments.
  • Support staff with tasks, including occasional moderate Lifting, to ensure operational continuity.
  • Drive a culture of Safety and continuous improvement within the team.
