You will work closely with the warehouse management team to troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems).
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the warehouse facilities and equipment.
- Ensure all personnel are following safety protocols and properly utilizing PPE.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of new warehouse equipment or technology.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting warehouse operations.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies for equipment maintenance.
- Support the efficient flow of goods through the warehouse, contributing to overall logistics.
- Operate warehouse machinery as needed, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks, including significant Lifting.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on warehouse best practices and safety procedures.
- Document maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Collaborate with management to identify areas for operational improvement.
