You will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of materials, ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials and products.
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery with precision and safety.
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on material handling equipment.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse environment is essential.
- Forklift certification is mandatory.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 70 pounds.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Must be compliant with wearing all necessary PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, and work boots.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a safe work environment.
