Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator looking for a challenging opportunity in Austin, Texas? Join our dynamic logistics team and play a vital role in our warehouse operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Your expertise will ensure that materials are handled correctly, contributing to the overall efficiency of our warehouse and the smooth flow of goods. We prioritize a safe working environment, and you will be expected to adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and operate machinery with utmost care. This role requires a keen understanding of forklift operations, load capacities, and warehouse safety protocols. While the primary focus is forklift operation, you may also be asked to assist with other warehouse duties, including some lifting (up to 50 lbs). Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Move and stack inventory within the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking and put-away processes.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on all equipment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including PPE usage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Support overall warehouse and logistics operations as needed.
