Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
  • Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring efficient flow.
  • Assist with inventory control by properly labeling, storing, and tracking materials.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all safety standards.
  • Strictly follow all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE, including safety vests and footwear.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational objectives in logistics.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Valid forklift certification is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent work ethic and a commitment to reliability.
