We are seeking motivated Warehouse Workers to join our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse and contributes directly to our supply chain efficiency. You will be involved in various warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a dedication to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position requires physical stamina for tasks involving lifting and standing for extended periods. A commitment to following all company safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE , is mandatory. This role is key to our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming goods.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on order tickets.
- Prepare goods for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, ensuring aisles are clear and hazards are mitigated.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on workplace safety .
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times as required by the job function.
- Support the overall logistics team by assisting with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Commitment to workplace safety and understanding the importance of PPE .
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good communication skills.
