As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for both picking the correct items for outgoing orders and preparing them for safe transit. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure correct quantities are selected.
- Package orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including receiving and stocking.
Requirements:
- Experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
