We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately retrieve items from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role is essential for our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our facility using pick lists or RF scanners, locate specific products, and prepare them for the packing and shipping process. Speed and accuracy are key performance indicators for this position. We are committed to providing a safe work environment, and all employees must strictly follow safety guidelines and wear the provided PPE. This position requires physical stamina as you will be on your feet for extended periods, involving walking, bending, and lifting throughout your shift. A sharp eye for detail ensures minimal errors and high order accuracy. You will work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily targets, making good communication and teamwork skills valuable assets. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders according to specified requirements.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick sheets to identify and locate inventory items.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging area.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE diligently.
- Contribute to efficient logistics by ensuring timely order picking.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve overall warehouse productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Experience with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Capability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
