In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position is essential to our logistics network, ensuring timely and correct shipments. You will utilize technology like RF scanners to identify and pick items, contributing to the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Select products from warehouse inventory according to order specifications, using RF scanners or pick tickets.
- Ensure the correct item and quantity are picked for each order.
- Prepare picked items for shipment, which may include packaging and labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Comply with all safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Achieve daily picking goals and maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Communicate any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and other general warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to interpret pick orders and identify products.
- Excellent organizational skills and a focus on accuracy.
- Capability to work efficiently in a dynamic logistics setting.
- Must be capable of frequent Lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and bending for the duration of the shift.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols is beneficial.
