Our San Francisco, California facility is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our operations team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and functionality of our warehouse equipment and systems. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and effectively to support our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, experience with warehouse machinery, and a strong commitment to Safety and preventative care. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and palletizers.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure all machinery operates in compliance with Safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and the warehouse environment.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support the Logistics team by ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.
- Handle tasks involving potential Lifting of equipment parts or materials safely.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
