Opportunity for a skilled Forklift Operator in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our warehouse and is a critical component of our overall Logistics strategy. Your primary focus will be on safe and efficient movement of materials within the facility. We maintain the highest standards of workplace Safety , providing comprehensive training and all necessary PPE . This position requires proficiency in forklift operation and a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols. The role involves significant physical activity and requires a candidate capable of frequent Lifting and maneuvering of various materials. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move pallets of product to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and location verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all company policies and Safety regulations.
- Support warehouse team in achieving operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Excellent knowledge of forklift Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
