Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our inventory within our Charlotte, North Carolina **logistics** hub. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring the integrity of our stock. You will utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, manage stock locations, and generate reports. A paramount focus on **Safety** is expected, including adherence to all **Safety** protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role is less physically demanding than other warehouse positions, it may involve occasional **Lifting** of inventory items. We are looking for individuals with strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of **logistics** and inventory management principles. Previous experience in inventory control or a similar role within a warehouse environment is essential.   • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS.

  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with **Safety** regulations and proper **PPE** usage.
  • Generate reports on inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and other key metrics.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or **logistics**.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to **Lifting** up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Commitment to maintaining a **Safety**-focused work environment and adhering to **PPE** guidelines.
