We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical care, ensuring medication safety, and supporting patient health outcomes across various clinical settings. This role requires a thorough understanding of medical management, patient assessment, and retail pharmacy operations. The Pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and enhance patient care quality.
*Duties*
* Dispense prescription medications accurately using pharmacy software and EMR/EHR systems
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy
* Prepare and compound medications when necessary.
* Administer immunizations and provide patient education on medication use, side effects, and safety precautions
* Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals in compliance with regulations
* Maintain detailed documentation of medication dispensing, patient interactions, and medical management activities
* Support medical teams with medication administration plans, pain management strategies, and clinical pharmacy services
* Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
* *Skills*
* Proficiency with pharmacy software, EMR/EHR systems, and inventory management tools
* Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology
* Experience with compounding medications
* Ability to perform patient assessments and provide comprehensive patient service
* Skilled in immunizations administration and medication management strategies
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance with privacy standards
* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patients

Pay: $60.86 - $62.50 per hour
