Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa’s Department of Urology is looking for a full-time Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our growing team!
PCI’s Urology department employs an excellent team of professionals who are dedicated to delivering top quality healthcare. We’re seeking a bright, compassionate individual to join us in our mission! This is an exceptional opportunity for a therapist interested in pelvic floor therapy and dedicated to providing outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Manage patient caseload and provide initial and ongoing evaluations.
Plans and prepares treatment plans describing a strategy, purpose and anticipated outcome.
Administers manual exercises, application of physical agents (i.e.: ultrasound, electric stimulation)
Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum benefit often conferring with physician and other practitioners.
Patient education for at-home exercises.
Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, monthly progress notes and discharge summaries timely and completely.
The leading candidate will demonstrate behaviors reflective of PCI’s culture including, demonstrating a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care, collaborating effectively with team members, and maintaining a high standard of reliability and professionalism. Excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates must be or become proficient in the use of computer systems, including electronic medical records (EMR).
Candidate must be knowledgeable in applying skills and adhere to safety regulations. Qualified applicants are required to have Physical Therapist license in Iowa with specialized education and certifications in pelvic floor therapy. Two years of experience preferred.
