Duties

• Prepare and assemble meals with precision, following established recipes and menu guidelines
• Assist in menu planning to ensure variety, nutritional balance, and presentation excellence
• Handle food with care, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols
• Cook a variety of dishes, utilizing knife skills and cooking techniques suited for fine dining or catering environments
• Support food preparation activities including chopping, portioning, plating, and garnishing
• Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Contribute to kitchen organization by managing inventory, labeling ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of quality food service

Experience

• Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles preferred
• Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly valued
• Familiarity with menu planning, food handling, and food safety practices is essential
• Experience in fine dining or catering environments enhances your suitability for this role
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are important assets
• Background in the food industry with kitchen experience demonstrates your culinary versatility
• Knowledge of food service operations combined with excellent communication skills will support your success in this position
