Job Summary
The Sunset Hotel Group is seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our new Hilton DoubleTree Salisbury. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, friendly and outgoing personality, professional appearance and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and ensure smooth operations. The Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in creating a positive guest experience and maintaining the high standards of our resort.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette standards
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately through hotel management software
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to guests
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs efficiently
- Perform night audit procedures as required to ensure financial accuracy and reporting
- Uphold hospitality standards by delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy, organized, and welcoming for guests
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to assist diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette
- Previous experience with night audit procedures is a plus
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and courteously
- Hospitality management background or hotel experience is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to accommodate hotel operations

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
