Bartender/Service Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender/Service Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in both bar service and food industry operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a lively setting, providing memorable experiences for our guests while showcasing your bartending skills and beverage knowledge.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards and recipes.
• Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient service.
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately during shifts.
• Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with food service when necessary, including serving food and supporting catering or banquet events.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest identification to prevent underage drinking.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy nights, including nightclub or banquet settings.

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
• Experience in fine dining, nightclub environments, banquet settings, or catering is advantageous.
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining composure under pressure.
