Role Summary

Mountain Fence and Deck is seeking an experienced, results-driven Construction Project Manager to oversee all phases of deck and fence projects. The ideal candidate will manage budgets, schedules, quality, and multiple teams in a fast-paced environment, leading projects from initial client consultation and design review through to final completion.

Key Responsibilities

· Project Planning & Management: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Define scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with customers and subcontractors.

· Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, track costs, process change orders, and ensure profitability within established financial guidelines.

· Team & Subcontractor Coordination: Ensure adherence to schedules, safety standards (OSHA), and quality specifications.

· Quality & Compliance: Conduct regular site visits, enforce safety protocols, and ensure all work meets Mountain Fence and Deck's high-quality standards and local building codes, including permit acquisition for Boone and surrounding areas.

· Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, proactively resolve issues, provide progress reports, and ensure a positive customer experience.

· Procurement: Oversee procurement of materials through local and online suppliers. Manage job inventory and work to reduce waste.

Qualifications

· Experience: 3-5+ years as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in residential or light commercial construction; experience with decking, fencing, or outdoor living is a significant plus.

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore), strong blueprint and technical specification interpretation skills.

· Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, team building, conflict resolution, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

· Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
