About the Job

Cityside Fiber is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Analyst to join our Sales & Marketing team. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement across our sales and marketing operations and plays a key part in enabling data-driven decision-making, scaling our sales capabilities, and coordinating marketing campaign logistics as we grow. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, strong organizational abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports in Power BI and Excel to track KPIs, pipeline health, and performance trends. Collect, clean, and analyze sales data from CRM systems, tools, and other sources to identify insights and opportunities.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within CRM systems and related platforms. Establish and maintain data standards, create tracking lists, and own project management documentation to keep the sales and marketing organization aligned and efficient.
  • Support development of sales forecasts and revenue projections based on historical data, market trends, and business input. Provide modeling and scenario analysis to support budgeting and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Analyze sales processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies. Assist in implementing CRM enhancements, new sales programs, and automation opportunities that boost team productivity and reduce manual work.
  • Track and manage marketing campaign performance and delivery across channels. Monitor campaign metrics, timelines, and results to ensure initiatives are meeting objectives and supporting sales goals.
  • Coordinate marketing-related logistics and procurement, including direct mail campaign management, collateral ordering and inventory, and other campaign delivery activities. Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of marketing materials to support sales locations and initiatives.
  • Maintain performance dashboards and reports for sales representatives. Provide training and ongoing support to the sales team on tools, processes, and data interpretation. Work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and IT to align goals and coordinate initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and market opportunities to inform sales strategy and support leadership decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field; MBA or advanced coursework in Business Analytics preferred
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in CRM management, sales operations, sales analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics (telecom, broadband, or BSP industry experience is a strong advantage)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions, data visualization) and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Experience with Power BI for dashboard development and reporting; SQL knowledge preferred
  • Experience tracking and managing marketing campaigns and campaign-related logistics (direct mail, collateral procurement, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, manage tight deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality
