Experienced Mixologist/Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking experienced, skilled and passionate Mixologists to join our team. We are an elevated cigar lounge in Brookhaven and you must be ok with being around cigars. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly in cocktail lounges. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in hospitality will enhance our drink offerings and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. This is a hybrid position which will require candidates to also act as a cocktail server as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, and specialty drinks.
• Maintain knowledge of current drink trends and menu items to provide recommendations to guests.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
• Manage the bar area efficiently, including inventory control, cleanliness, and organization.
• Interact with customers to create a welcoming environment while providing excellent service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service.
• Utilize strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in lounge or high end bar setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktail techniques and beverage preparation methods.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in basic math for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 24 years of age due to alcohol service regulations.
• Must be punctual and respect the position's in-time.
• Food handling certification is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to obtain a Pour License from Brookhaven Police Dept.
• Cigar knowledge is a plus.
• Whisk(e)y, Bourbon knowledge a plus.
