Duties

• Assist in menu planning and development to ensure a diverse and appealing selection of meals.
• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Handle food safely, adhering to all health regulations and safety standards.
• Support the dietary department by providing excellent food service and customer interaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and catering services as needed.
• Engage in fine dining experiences by presenting dishes attractively and professionally.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within the food industry.
• Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent food handling skills with an emphasis on food safety practices.
• Experience in restaurants or similar culinary environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
