Position Summary

The Weekend Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. This role is responsible for creating a positive first impression while providing exceptional customer service and supporting basic administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately

• Monitor visitor sign-in procedures and ensure facility safety protocols are followed

• Provide general information to families and visitors

• Sort and distribute mail and messages

• Assist with basic clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

• Support the administrative and nursing staff with assigned tasks

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior receptionist, office, or customer service experience preferred (healthcare experience a plus)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, phone systems)

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday rotation as needed
