We are seeking a U.S. Veteran, National Guardsman, Reservist, or Military Spouse with strong, hands-on experience as an Executive Assistant to support our client's expanding operations in the Washington, DC area. The Executive Assistant (EA) provides high-level administrative support to the Co-President and Senior Vice President in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Location: Onsite - Washington, DC
(Assignment Dates: 1/5/ /1/2027)
Pay: $25/hr.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
- Manage complex executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, events, and appointments.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, prepare itineraries, and present travel options to executives.
- Gather, organize, and deliver materials and briefings needed for meetings and events.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high ethical standard at all times.
- Answer and screen phone calls and emails; route inquiries to the appropriate individuals or teams; take and relay messages as needed.
- Serve as a polished, professional representative of both the executive office and our client.
- Maintain organization and attention to detail in a fast-moving, high-demand environment.
- Adapt to shifting priorities, including last-minute requests and occasional after-hours needs.
- Drive tasks to completion with a strong focus on accuracy, follow-through, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, contributing to a supportive and improvement-oriented team culture.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in Microsoft Outlook; proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and OneNote preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Flexible, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of relevant professional experience with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Proven multitasker with excellent written and verbal communication, including strong spelling, grammar, and composition.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Access; types 60 WPM.
