Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes that meet our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation. Responsibilities

• Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, using fresh ingredients.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and catering services.
• Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and place orders as necessary.
• Stay updated on current trends in sushi cuisine to enhance menu offerings.
• Provide exceptional service to guests by ensuring their dining experience is memorable.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a restaurant or catering environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food service industry.
• Proficiency in meal preparation techniques, particularly within fine dining settings.
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
