Position Summary
The Department of Neurology at LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans is seeking applicants for a hospital-based Neurologist to join the faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). This neurologist would be part of our growing LCMC Health multidisciplinary team whose function is to provide comprehensive care for patients with neurological diseases in the greater New Orleans metropolitan area.
The successful applicant would be based at University Medical Center-New Orleans (UMCNO), Louisiana, which is a tertiary-care facility receiving referrals from hospital throughout the Gulf Coast. Incumbent will report to the Head of the Department of Neurology and work collaboratively with the health care teams at UMC.
Additional Position Information
The successful candidate must be board eligible/certified in Neurology. Academic rank will be based upon individual's background and experience and determined in accordance with School Medicine and LSU System criteria.
