Senior Software Engineer, Tech Lead - Food | Minneapolis, MN | $96,000 - $140,000

We're working with Cargill on this exciting opportunity.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Cargill, a global leader in nourishing the world. You'll be a technical lead on a B2B customer-facing portal product team, driving technical feasibility and architecture for new product development. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring other engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather complex requirements and deliver solutions.

• Support technical talent through coaching and technical guidance.

• Recommend and implement improvements for software development and deployment processes.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for complex software applications.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues with deployed applications.

What You'll Need:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, typically 5 years or more.

• Proven experience in B2B platform engineering and technologies such as REACT, Spring Boot, and Java.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Docker, Kubernetes, Cypress, Sonar, Open Search, AWS, and microservices architecture.

• Strong foundation in core engineering principles for solution design, scalability, and performance optimization.

• Proficiency with modern engineering toolsets (e.g., GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, backlog management).

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product teams across diverse B2B domains.
