*Job Description And Duties *
State Fund's Information Technology (IT) – Client Support Services Unit in Vacaville has an opening for an Associate Systems Analyst.

Under general supervision of the IT Supervisor II, the incumbent will:

• Provide quality customer service as the single point of contact to customers by managing call activity, service tickets, and assuming accountability for issues/inquiry resolution
• Administrate and maintain Windows Network Operating Systems, Active Directory, servers, network equipment, and telephone systems to meet site operational needs and systems goals
• Coordinate/provide technical support and training (educating) end-users and local program operations

Desirable Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of IT Technician experience
• Proficient knowledge of Windows Network Operating System, Windows Professional Desktop, Windows Exchange (server), Windows Outlook (desktop) and Active Directory
• Proficient knowledge of the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PC/LAN/WAN/Telecom/Mobile Devices
• Working knowledge of standard software and Internet applications
• Working knowledge of concepts used in network architecture (LAN/WAN)
• Ability to work independently and as a team with co-workers and management to address and resolve issues
• Working knowledge of client/server computing concepts
• General knowledge of project management principles
• Ability to keep current with respect to changing technologies
• Ability to solve technical problems with a minimal amount of information (even incorrect information)
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a changing environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivation, dependability, flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment

On-site Physical Requirements:

• State Fund has adopted telework for employees who can effectively perform their essential work functions remotely. However, this is an essential position where hybrid telework is available in conjunction with on-site requirements; where the selected candidate will report to their assigned location(s) on either a scheduled, rotational, or as-needed basis.
• The selected candidate must be able to meet the essential on-site requirements by the agreed-upon start date, this could require but is not limited relocation.
• State Fund is not considering relocation expense reimbursement for this position.

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee's monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract.
