Construction Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing project plans and specifications, and collaborating with clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Duties

• Develop detailed construction cost estimates using Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating software.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope of work and required resources.
• Perform quantity take-offs and pricing analysis to ensure competitive and accurate bids.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate costs and finalize contracts.
• Monitor project budgets, perform cost control analyses, and provide updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in bid preparation, proposal development, and presentation of estimates to stakeholders.
• Contribute to construction management activities by providing insights on cost implications during project planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and construction site regulations during site visits when necessary.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and site operations.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating or project management software is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in negotiation, pricing strategies, and cost control within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, project management principles, and construction site safety protocols.
• Prior experience working on construction sites or within a construction management environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of estimate preparation.
