Maxwell Public Schools, a small K-12 district with 275 students, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our close-knit team. The position available is a self contained 6th grade classroom. We are a district where educators work together in a collaborative, family-like environment to provide high-quality education to every student. Our elementary classrooms are capped in size by board policy, ensuring smaller class sizes and more personalized instruction for our students.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for elementary students.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and implement effective lesson plans.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Maintain consistent communication with parents and guardians.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and continually grow as an educator.
• Contribute to the overall mission and goals of Maxwell Public Schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (or related field).
• Nebraska Teaching Certification or the ability to obtain certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators.
