Snowflake Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled
Data Engineer with strong Snowflake expertise
who can also handle
production support
activities for data pipelines, ETL workflows, and Snowflake environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable data solutions along with troubleshooting and resolving production issues in real time.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering

• Design, develop, and optimize
  Snowflake data pipelines
  , schemas, and data models.
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as
  Informatica, DBT, Airflow, Matillion, or Python
  .
• Create and maintain
  Snowflake objects
  (tables, views, stages, warehouses, tasks, streams, pipes).
• Implement
  best practices
  for performance tuning, query optimization, and cost management.
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Production Support

• Monitor daily batch jobs, pipelines, and Snowflake workloads.
• Troubleshoot failures, performance issues, and data quality challenges.
• Work on incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive actions.
• Respond to alerts, handle L2/L3 support, and ensure
  SLA compliance
  .
• Coordinate with data engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to resolve issues.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience with
  Snowflake
  (SQL, Warehouse configuration, Performance tuning).
• Solid experience with
  SQL
  (complex queries, debugging, optimization).
• Skills in
  Python
  or
  Shell scripting
  for automation.
• Knowledge of
  ETL tools
  (Informatica / Talend / Matillion / DBT / Airflow).
• Experience working in
  Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  ecosystem.
• Understanding of
  Data Warehousing concepts
  and data modeling.
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, etc.).
