Delivery & Transfer Driver

We are seeking a full-time team member to join Packer Fastener at our Madison Branch. This is a full-time first shift position ideal for someone who enjoys driving, is committed to safety, and to delivering excellent service to their customers. 

This is a full-time, first shift position. 

• Make local deliveries to our customers using a variety of company vehicles (van, truck, and flatbed).

• Transport materials between our locations using a flatbed truck.

• A safe and responsible driver with a valid driver's license.

• Someone who is team-oriented, dependable, and ready to pitch in wherever needed as customer and operational needs evolve.

• The ability to adapt and stay flexible in a role where no two days are exactly the same.

• All drivers must be eligible for coverage under our company's auto insurance policy per our Driver Safety Policy.

• To operate the flatbed truck, candidates must pass a DOT physical. If you don't already have a current Fed Med card, we'll cover the cost of the physical.

• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to obtain coverage through company's auto insurance carrier according to company Driver Safety Policy. 
• Must possess a valid FedMed Card or be willing/able to obtain prior to employment by taking a DOT Physical (arranged for and paid for by us).
• Must be willing/able to obtain valid forklift certification issued by Packer Fastener
• Familiarity of delivery territory
