Line Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our fast paced and fun food truck team, located at Wild Ride Brewery in Redmond Oregon. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing dishes with quality control and efficiency, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and customer service will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. This position requires night and weekend shift availability, comfort with cooking and cleaning a flat top grill along with an ability to be adaptable and process oriented in high volume food preparation. We offer competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus excellent tips, particularly for high volume shifts we are seeking to fill.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with customer modifications and attention to detail, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Follow established recipes and portion controls to ensure quality, consistency and efficiency in meal preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Prepping and stocking throughout shifts for necessary items to ensure smooth transitions through high volume times.
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients to prevent cross-contamination. Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety protocols.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues as needed and maintaining a professional attitude at all times with both co-workers and customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, line-cooking roles within the food industry or restaurant settings. Current Food handler's card ideal.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Demonstrated proficiency and confidence in kitchen knowledge, food and meal preparation techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
