Duties

  • Engage in outside sales efforts by reaching out to prospective clients through telemarketing, community events, and networking to promote insurance products.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of client needs to recommend appropriate insurance policies, including health and life coverage.
  • Negotiate terms and coverage options with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements that meet their financial goals.
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details clearly, and assisting clients throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract new clients and retain existing ones through targeted campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and other relevant standards during all client interactions.

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency.
  • Familiarity with sales administration processes and analysis skills to interpret market data and client feedback effectively.
  • Background in insurance sales or related financial services is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle customer inquiries professionally while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and benefits administration enhances your ability to serve clients comprehensively.
  • Previous experience with telemarketing or outreach campaigns is a plus; however, a proactive approach and eagerness to learn are equally valued.
