Bartender - Nolins Bar & Grille

Nolins Bar & Grille is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused bartender to join our lively team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, maintaining the bar area, taking food orders and delivering outstanding hospitality to all guests.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and engage with guests, anticipate their needs, ensure their satisfaction and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and according to standard recipes and customer preferences while adhering to all TABC regulations, while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
• Perform opening and closing duties and maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
• Engage with guests to foster positive experience and address any concerns promptly
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

What We're Looking for:

• Minimum of TWO years bartending experience
• Previous experience in full-service restaurant is required; fine dining or upscale dining experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally
• Excellent time management skills to manage multiple guests and tables efficiently during busy periods
• Familiarity with food and beverage pairings and understanding of menu items to recommend or upsell dishes to confidently enhance the guest experience and increase revenue
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays, plates, and drinks
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Must have TABC server permit
• Knowledge of drink recipes, spirits, and wine.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Must be self-motivated, reliable, and have exceptional time management skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be a team player and work well with others
