Job Description
Cetera is seeking an Operations Specialist to join our Channel Operations team in El Segundo, CA. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational excellence by ensuring compliance and data integrity across key systems. The Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing Smarsh email retention and access, delivering customized reporting solutions, and providing troubleshooting support to both field representatives and internal teams. This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage Smarsh email retention settings for the Channel Operations team
  • Maintain and oversee Smarsh access for Supervision teams
  • Develop ad hoc and customized reports for credit unions, banks, and field teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce cases, including case setup and follow-through

Desired Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Familiarity with Smarsh, Salesforce, or similar compliance and reporting platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset toward operational improvements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across teams

Minimum Required Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation
The base annual salary range for this role is
$67,000 to $75,000
, with the opportunity to earn a competitive performance-based bonus. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to: relevant skills, depth and years of experience, certifications, and geographic location. Salary may vary significantly depending on cost-of-labor considerations in different regions.
