We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Onboarding Manager to lead our talent integration process. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, fostering positive employee relations, and supporting overall talent acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, expertise in HRIS systems, and experience with various ATS platforms. As an Onboarding Manager, you will collaborate closely with HR teams, hiring managers, and new employees to facilitate efficient onboarding processes that align with company goals and culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs to enhance new hire engagement and retention.
- Coordinate with HR sourcing, recruiting, and talent acquisition teams to ensure smooth onboarding workflows.
- Manage onboarding documentation and data entry within HRIS systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, or iCIMS.
- Conduct interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers during the onboarding process.
- Utilize ATS platforms like Lever, Greenhouse, or Salesforce to track applicant progress and onboarding status.
- Lead new employee orientation sessions, including training & development initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with new hires through effective communication skills and personalized support.
- Conduct research on best practices in onboarding and employee engagement to continuously improve processes.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on employee relations issues related to onboarding and integration.
- Support lead generation efforts for talent acquisition through cold calling, research, and outreach strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements during the onboarding process.
Experience
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or recruiting roles with a focus on onboarding or employee integration.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, Kronos, or PeopleSoft.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms including iCIMS, Lever, or Salesforce for applicant tracking and data management.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, interviewing techniques, and HR sourcing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in training & development programs is a plus.
