Job Description:

The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in driving the company's financial planning processes, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making, and ensuring financial accountability across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, strategic thinking capabilities, and a proven track record of leading successful FP&A initiatives. This individual must be dynamic, innovative, and technologically focused to drive improvement of processes for business value creation. Position reports to the CFO, is highly visible, and will have direct exposure to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Execute and perform the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, collaborating with key stakeholders to develop comprehensive financial plans aligned with the company's goals and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain business segment and consolidated financial models to support financial scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and long-term financial planning.
  • Perform advanced financial modeling and analysis to support operating teams' strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
  • Analyze key financial and operational metrics (KPIs), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to drive continuous improvement and mitigate financial risks.
  • Perform complex ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects such as CAPEX deployment analysis, capital raising, and competitor intelligence.

Financial Reporting & Investor Relations Support

  • Prepare, analyze, and present insightful financial, variance, cost, and profitability analyses to serve as management's advisor on financial matters.
  • Research and analyze financial reports of competitors and market trends to provide insightful information for strategic decision-making and IR materials.
  • Assist in the preparation of earnings materials, including drafting, reviewing, and fact-checking slides, scripts, and Q&A documents for quarterly earnings calls.
  • Track and analyze consensus estimates from sell-side analysts and compare them to internal forecasts to identify gaps and support management guidance strategy.
  • Monitor and summarize analyst reports, investment theses, and industry news, providing timely internal communication to CFO.
  • Maintain and update key Investor Relations materials such as investor presentations, fact sheets, and website content to ensure data accuracy and consistency with public filings.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting and Legal teams to ensure accuracy and timely preparation of data for external disclosures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed, rolling cash flow planning on the entity and Holdings levels.
  • Support process improvements and efficiencies within the FP&A function, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or other analytical field required; CPA, CFA, MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Advanced Excel skills, experience with a programming language such as Python is a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to proactively identify opportunities to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Experience with databases, financial planning software, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or other dashboard creation experience a plus.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with proven ability to craft concise messaging for executive and external audiences.
  • Familiarity with capital markets, basic valuation methodologies, and interpreting sell-side analyst models is highly desired.

Expected Compensation

Annual salary + bonus and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
