Part -Time Bartender - Recent Experience Required - Hyde Park Golf & Country Club

We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Must have weekend/Sunday availability. Rotating AM & PM shifts during the week and weekend, averaging 15-30 hours for a part-time position during summer season. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding membership needs and expectations in a timely manner. Responsibilities:

Our mission is to uphold our superior standards of gracious hospitality, provide a family friendly atmosphere and preserve HPCC's traditional reputation of club excellence. Bartenders will assist with our mission by:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
• Requests additional supplies as necessary and stocks the bar.
• Follows set-up procedures.
• Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
• Greets members and guests.
• Mixes, prepares and serves drinks to members and guests and mixes and prepares drinks ordered by food servers and beverage servers according to the recipes approved by the beverage manager.
• Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment. Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, and sundries to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times.
• Maintains daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demand.
• Cleans and lock ups the bar area according to prescribed procedures.
• Carefully follows all laws and club policies and procedures regarding alcoholic beverage service and informs manager if continued service to a member or guest is in question.
• Serves food & drinks to members and guests seated at lounge tables in the absence of a dining room server.
• Completes other appropriate work assignments as requested by immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Resume and proven working experience as a recent bartender.
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
• Computer literacy and restaurant Point of Sale experience.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Relevant ServSafe/eTIPS current training certificate is a plus.
• Adhere to grooming and dress code standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
