As a Security Guard - Media Patrol Full-Time in Playa Vista, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. You will play a key part in maintaining a welcoming environment, utilizing strong communication skills, and upholding Allied Universal's values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity throughout your daily responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, both indoors and outdoors, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with on-site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs specific to a technology and media environment.
• Document daily activities and incidents as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
